Bela R Balogh

Béla R. Balogh is a Portland native, real estate broker, and musician. His passion for real estate is enhanced by his love for the arts in that he sees the beauty and potential in every type of home. When you attend an open house hosted by Béla, you are likely to hear him performing on his violin as he writes music inspired by the home he is showing. This not only allows him an opportunity to explore the acoustics of the home, but also to connect with guests who come to visit.

Béla also brings his musician’s perfectionist streak into real estate transactions. He takes the time necessary to make sure each step of the process is executed with the same precision he applies to his music.

If you are wondering what Béla brings to the table, you must first consider his history.
In 1996, Béla co-founded the highly acclaimed and award-winning ensemble 3 Leg Torso, performing on violin, mandolin, trumpet, and piano. His compositions have been heard on National Public Radio, HBO, and have been featured in soundtracks to films by Academy Award winning filmmaker Joan Gratz, Cannes Festival award winning animator Bill Plympton, documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me) and he has contributed music for three short films by Ezekial Zabrowski and Teller, of Penn & Teller fame. Béla’s most recent album with 3 Leg Torso, And to All a Good Night was awarded Album of the Year by the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.
Béla finds true joy in the connections and relationships he has cultivated throughout his long career both in music and in real estate, so joining forces with his long time friend and The BelaHomes Property Group Team Lead, Bela Barany, was a natural fit.
